This project called for tag animations that would inject the station brand into the spot in a charming way. I chose to highlight the outlines of objects using golden strokes, and resolve into the simplest form of the brand. Those elements track with the shot in 3D space, lending the feeling that they’re truly part of the scene. Is it holiday magic, or is it the built-in 3D scene tracker of Adobe After Effects? I like to think it’s both. These were produced as horizontal and vertical videos for broadcast and social. Shot and edited by Hunter Palmer.
